Dr. Susan, We are so grateful for the care and compassion during our last moments with my beloved Maggie. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Barnett and the service she provides. Her care and compassion can't be matched. She was so kind and considerate as she explained how things would happen. She helped us to make sure our dog's last moment were full of love and enjoyment (lots of treats and cuddles) instead of fear. We had to put down our sweet 6 and 1/2-year-old Daniff due to bone cancer. Our vet referred and recommended Dr Barnett as an option for his end of Life Care. I contacted her about a week after learning that he was dying. She was extremely professional, compassionate, and informative. In the end, we decided to utilize her services and she would come to the house where he would be most comfortable. From the minute she came in, she celebrated our sweet boy. He loves her immediately and loved her snacks as well LOL. Throughout the whole heart wrenching process, she was so professional detailed with those having next, and just understanding about how devastating the day was. Not that I would ever want to lose another pet although it will happen eventually I will say that if I have to go through the same process again I would want it to be the way that my sweet boy I got to end his life. It was calm and loving. It was the best possible outcome for his condition. There was no fear or pain. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge at party for him with love and comfort. I would recommend her services to anyone who has to go through this terrible circumstance. I am so very thankful and grateful that she was able to come do that in my own home for his benefit

I cannot say enough about this service. Dr Barnett came without notice, in just a few hours, without us being previous patients of hers. My Boston terrier, Claira, had suddenly become very ill and as a nurse it was clear to me that she would not recover. Dr Barnett was kind and careful and provided end of life care in my home. I am forever grateful. Claira did not have take a long car ride, then pass away in a strange place and this meant the world to us. She deserved the exemplary care she received. I highly recommend Dr Barnett. We are so grateful for her.

Dr Barnett came to our home and helped our 17+ year old sweet girl, Baby, go peacefully and is no longer suffering. She informed me of everything she was doing and explained what would happen. She was patient, kind, supportive and gave me comfort in letting me know I was doing the right thing, as Baby was very sick. She was amazing and I recommend her 100%.

I feel so fortunate that this community has Dr. Sue to provide this essential service for our fur-clad family members so their last moments with us are filled with dignity, comfort and peace. Her compassionate care made a very difficult time much easier and relaxed, for me and for Harry the Cat. It was such a relief to be able to be home with him, so he could be in his special spot, with me, and just fall asleep like he always does, being petted and loved on. Dr. Sue is so kind- she even brought special treats for Harry! I chose to have him cremated, and Dr. Sue delivered his ashes back to me, with a paw print, and followed up with a lovely sympathy card. Her service is a true blessing! I wouldn’t even consider having anyone else care for my fur babies when it’s their time. I am so very thankful to her that she makes an at-home crossing an option.

It is terrible having a loved pet decline to the point where end of life decisions are necessary, but if that is the path on which you go, you could not find a better option than Dr. Barnett. From my first conversations, I could understand why so many had offered such positive reviews. It was obvious that she was patient, caring, and uniquely qualified for the difficult area in which she specializes. Dr. Barnett was excellent to work with through the entire process. She was easy to communicate with by phone and text, and provided me a daily checklist so that I could track my dog's progress and note any changes or decline. This was very useful to avoid making such an important decision merely on impressions. When the day arrived, Dr. Barnett came to my home and was wonderful. She interacted with my dog, gave him treats, and made him comfortable. His final moments were good and his passing was painless. It was exactly the kind of ending one hopes a loved pet will have.

Dr. Barnett made one of the most difficult days much easier than I imagined it would be. She gave our old girl Condy such compassionate care at the end along with many delicious treats. You can tell she truly cares about what she does. I cannot say enough good things about her and I highly recommend using her - we certainly will again when necessary for our other three dogs. dr. barnett was amazing, i can not say enough about how she cared for my chloe in her last moments. when you arrived you went straight to Chloe and talked with her like you knew her forever. you then fed her treats and while doing so explained Everything to all of us of your Procedure. you also noticed her head tilt and eyes and told us what may have happened to her making our decision easier and knowing that we made the correct call. chloe was a golden retriever and was a couple weeks shy of 15 years old. she had a good life. I would and have recommended sue to anyone. No words can really explain how great Dr. Barnett was.

Dr. Barnett was amazing. My Yellow Lab (Dixie) was at the end and I did not want her to suffer any longer. Dr. Barnett came to our home, brought treats for Dixie and was so empathetic. Dixie got a dignified ending, Dr. Barnett explained the process and gave us plenty of time to hold Dixie and tell her we lover her one last time. Finding a service such as this in Northern New Hampshire is difficult and Dr. Barnett is the very best. I Recommend her without reservation.

Dr sue is an angel. When our pomeranian mango started failing, i called her. She came to our Home on a Sunday. She was soft , kind and so loving to our baby. She understood how difficult it was for us to have to say good bye to him and she made it so much easier to bare. 100% I would recommend her to anyone needing this service. We need more vets like her.

We are so grateful that we chose northern winds veterinary services when it came time for our beloved ol’ lab to be put to sleep. The At-Home process was very relaxed, peaceful and completely stress free for him. Dr. Sue treated him (and us) with utmost Respect and dignity from start to finish. She is a caring professional who thoroughly explained each step during the final process. Despite having Spent her daytime teaching a college class, and it being a Sunday night, Dr. Sue made the 70-mile trip to our home without any hesitation whatsoever. At no time During Her visit did we feel rushed at all. If you’re facing The difficult decisions when nearing the end of your pet’s life, we strongly recommend dr. Sue to help you. We would not change a single detail about the stellar service she provided to our family. Thank you Dr. Sue!!

Dr Barnett was Absolutely wonderful after our beloved Corgi Rascal became Ill. The coldest day of The Year and she did not hesitate to come to our home and euthanasia our dog. Such Compassion and understanding during this very difficult time. She will always be my go to person from here on out with all my animals. Horses included.

Sue came to us with the most compassionate and caring spirit one could ask for. Our little Beagle was fed to his hearts delight and then gently relaxed into a peaceful ( snoring ) sleep. Sue is such a wonderful caring vet. She answered all of my questions and walked me through the whole process. My old girl was able to be on her bed under here Favorite lilac bush when she passed. There was no stressful car ride to the vet, cold vet office floor and a vet you don't know. Instead my dog got to be at her own house with her family and Sue. Sue was so caring and calm. She explained ever step she was doing. My dog was giving calming medicine and when it was time quietly went to sleep. when my dog had passed she let us take as much time as we needed. It was such a loving peaceful end to my old girls life. Then Sue has a wonderful person she works with that does the cremation. My girl was back with me within about a week in a beautiful crafted box and a dog paw clay print. Then she personally delivers the Ashes to you! I am telling everyone I know that has older aging pets that Sue and Northern Winds is amazing And got me through one of the worst and sadest days of my life . Thank you Sue my family and i will forever be greatful to you.
